Exploring What Music Can Hold Onto, Even When Memory Can't

Alongside her cooking, Aurora has a longstanding personal interest in the relationship between music, memory, and emotional wellbeing — particularly in the context of dementia care. Drawing on volunteering, personal study, and years of musical experimentation as a piano teacher, she has spent time exploring how familiar melodies and gentle arrangements can support calm, recognition, and emotional connection in people living with memory loss.

Her handwritten music scores, developed through this ongoing personal research, form a quiet but important thread running through her wider creative work.
